Our Christmas tree meringue baking kit comes in our brand new limited edition black  + pink speckle postal boxes… which are then filled with all the ingredients to make your own festive Christmas tree meringues at home!

Our baking kit contains the ingredients for two batches of Christmas tree meringues (about 100-150 in total), that you can gift, use to decorate cakes, or just pop in your mouth when you need a sweet treat.

The baking kits are post-able UK wide!

The kit is perfect for home bakers, people who fancy learning a new skill, and families who just want to have a bit of fun!  Not only will you make Christmas tree meringues, but you’ll be able to use your newly learnt skills to create meringues time and time again – in loads of different shapes & flavours!

It’s a great Christmas present for budding bakers, a fun activity to do with the kids, and a great way to make lots of edible Christmas gifts.

Our kit includes detailed instructions, plus our special hints and tips.

Contents:

  • 1kg caster sugar
  • 500g Two Chicks egg whites
  • 4 x compostable piping bags
  • Cream of tartar
  • Mince pie spices – flavouring (cinnamon, ginger, mixed spice)
  • Green natural food colouring
  • Paint brush
  • Piping nozzle
  • Piping template + baking paper
  • Sprinkles – for the baubles!
  • Gift bags + ribbon (so that you can gift some bags!)
  • Detailed instructions

All ingredients including the free-range egg whites are happy stored at room temperature – you will have at least 6 weeks shelf life remaining on your eggs – plenty of time to plan a bit of a meringue baking session!  The kit / recipe is also gluten free.

The kit includes all ingredients + specialist equipment – but you will need an electric whisk – either hand held or stand alone – and baking trays + an oven.

Delivery:

As life is a bit up in the air at the moment, we’ve created this box to have a longer shelf life in mind – everything in the kit lasts at room temperature for 6 weeks.

Pre order now for delivery from end November / December, and choose a dispatch date from the calendar in the checkout.

You will receive a despatch notification when we send these out on a tracked service.

We are predicting that postal service & couriers will be very busy this Christmas –  with the current climate, please order in god time if you need these delivered by a set date.

You are also more than welcome to order, for collection from our bakery Tuesday to Saturday (let us know when you’ll be popping down in the check out comments)

If you would like an international delivery – give us an email to discuss postage prices (often liquid is the problem when going across borders – so we can post these out without the egg whites, so you’d just buy fresh whole eggs.)

Saturday bakery opening

We open up the bakery every Saturday from 10am-3.30pm for (socially distanced) treats – we have heaps on offer – cakes by the slice, and we will of course be going extra hard on festive treats. Come and visit us!  We are E8 4TS.

Ingredients & Allergens:

Free-range pasteurised liquid egg whites, sprinkles (suitable for vegetarians), sugar, cream of tartar, mixed spices inc. cinnamon, ginger, mixed spice.

Packed in a bakery which handles nuts, gluten & dairy – although we take extra precautions to pack in a contained area.
