For last minute or bespoke orders, feel free to call us or email us and we’ll do our best to help. We can often do next day.

POSTAGE AND COURIER

If you choose an item which needs to be couriered within London or picked up, and buy other postable items, all items will be couriered or collected.

BESPOKE ORDERS

Payment is in advance, we can work with short delivery times. No job too big or small.

POSTING

We generally use 1st class unrecorded Royal Mail or an overnight courier service.

REFUNDS

Once your order has be processed & paid for, we cannot offer a refund.

DELIVERY

If you would like your delivery on a specific date – please message us in the enquiry box, and add to the calendar in the checkout. We will do our best to get them to you on the appropriate day.

However, we cannot guarantee this. If you need an urgent or next day delivery – please email or call us and we will do our best to help you out.

You can collect from our bakery Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm. Please email us to let us know what time you will be picking up, so that we can make sure your order is ready.

Not all our parcels fit through the letterbox so make sure you send it to an address with someone in from 9am-5pm, or use a work address.

What needs to be couriered, or collected?

All the meringue kisses must be couriered, their perfect little peak tend to break off in the post.

COURIER

Because of the freshness and delicate nature of some of our products, they need to be hand delivered. We’re based in Hackney and deliver around london via courier. Please see our courier map for prices.

If you want to order, but are not based within the courier postcodes, please email us and we can see what we can do. If you need long-distance meringue kisses you can always collect from us a few days in advance as the shelf life is 10 days.

All deliveries are undertaken by an external courier company. Please ensure someone is available at the delivery address on the day of your order; if there is no-one on hand to receive the goods, the courier will try to leave them in a safe place (with a neighbour, receptionist, caretaker etc.) but we cannot keep hold of the goods for re-delivery and they will be left at the address you have given us. If you would like us to deliver to your place of work or somewhere with a mailroom/courier point we are happy to do so but please note that Meringue Girls cannot accept any liability for the treatment of your order or mishandling once a delivery has been made.

All our drivers are instructed in the correct handling of the goods and will always pass this information onto any post-room workers but once the goods are signed for we cannot accept liability for the subsequent handling of your goods.

ALLERGENS

Our meringues contain free-range pasteurised egg whites, caster sugar and natural colourings. We use natural flavourings wherever we can. Our meringues are suitable for vegetarians. The eggs are pasteurised and so suitable for children and pregnant women.

Some of our meringues are nut flavoured, for example, pistachio, peanut and hazelnut. The meringues are in close proximity to each other, so we do not suggest eating any if you are allergic to nuts. We use black sesame seeds on our watermelon meringues, so we do not recommend any meringues if you are allergic to sesame.

All our products are handmade in a kitchen that handles peanuts, nuts, soya, gluten, dairy, and eggs. We strive to avoid any cross-contamination but cannot guarantee the absence of trace amounts of these allergens in our products.

MASTERCLASSES

What’s the age minimum at masterclasses?

For the Meringue Girls meringue kiss masterclasses, 12 is the youngest age we advise. Any younger would need assistance of a paying adult.

For the Meringue Girls/Fondant Fox cake decorating class, the youngest age is 14.

Can I sit and watch while a friend does a masterclass?

Our bakery is a very small space and we prefer everyone who comes to a masterclass to be involved.

When are new masterclass dates released?

They are released every couple of months – keep an eye on the site and our instagram.

ELECTRO FLORAL CAKE – CHOCOLATE MUD CAKE (IN TURQUOISE ELECTRO FLORAL DESIGN)

Ingredients: plain flour, soft brown sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, bicarb of soda, eggs, milk, coconut oil, vanilla extract, coffee, sea salt, chocolate buttercream filling/ buttercream covering – butter, plain chocolate, sea salt, icing sugar, vanilla bean paste. MOTHER OF ALL CARROT CAKES

Ingredients: carrots, pineapple, flower, cinnamon, mixed spice, ground ginger, nutmeg, salt, bicarb of soda, vegetable oil, free range eggs, orange zest, brown sugar, vanilla bean paste, desiccated coconut, walnuts. Icing: cream cheese, butter, icing sugar, lime zest, edible flower petals (cornflower and calendula)
